In last few months, associations have moved toward rapid digital transformation across all areas of operations. You and your team may be working in ways you’d never have imagined a year ago. But because these changes have been imposed on us so rapidly, there may not have been time to properly strategise. Causeis has developed a first of its kind Digital Academy for association executives, to help you effectively navigate the digital landscape.

Course: Defining a Digital & MX Strategy

Learn the tools you need to formulate a comprehensive digital strategy and help your association adapt to a changing operating environment with confidence. Attendees of the first Digital Academy will have access to training on: 

  • Why is a Digital and MX Strategy critical for your association?
  • The interrelation of data, process, and experience.
  • What can the past teach us?
  • Creating a culture of innovation.
  • The role of member experience in your digital strategy.
  • Framework for Digital and MX Strategy implementation.
  • Industry leaders give us their predictions for digital strategy and future tech.

This workshop-style course is designed specifically to help association professionals to navigate digital transformation while remaining focused on the member experience. This workshop is not technical nor aligned to specific industry products. Registration is free and open to association executives and managers.

Each course is made up of two sessions, set over two days, totalling 6 hours.

With hands-on experience at every layer of associations she brings a unique blend of IT and business skills to the industry.

Peter Griffin, 
General Manager, Real Estate Institute of NSW (REI)

Peter is the General Manager of the Real Estate Institute of NSW (REI). He is responsible for the operations of the business, including membership, training, retail, marketing, finance, HR, and IT. The REI employs 34 people and turns over $7 million pa.

He is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Practising Marketer. He is also a Director for the Institute of Professional Editors.

Robert Barnes
Country Manager, Higher Logic

Higher Logic is an industry leader in cloud-based engagement platforms. Robert's first association job at 19 years old kicked off a career in association management spanning 20+years, three countries and multiple associations including Surf Life Saving Australia and Fitness Australia. In 2020 Robert received his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives being one of only two Australians to gain this credential.

Paul Ramsbottom
Managing Director, Advanced Solutions International

Paul is the Managing Director of ASI Asia-Pacific which has more than 600 Not-For-Profit clients in the region. Paul enjoys working everyday with great staff and great clients and is rewarded by seeing great things ASI clients using iMIS, Association Online and Donman systems do in and around the community and knowing that ASI is able to contribute to that.
